New workers’ comp payment method alleviates Post Office shortage problem

The fast methods of mail delivery will soon be a thing of the past. With the announcement that there will be 487 United States Post Offices closing, the way people receive their mail will be altered.

Injured individuals who rely on workers’ compensation checks will have to wait longer to receive their benefits in the mail if their insurers do not choose to mail the checks at an earlier time. A new payment method for workers’ compensation may solve these delivery problems.

The InsurCard Visa Prepaid Card was developed to provide workers’ compensation payments to individuals. Holders of these cards will automatically receive their monthly amount and this card can be used at all ATM’s as well as banks and retail stores.

Please contact the New Jersey workers’ compensation lawyers of Levinson Axelrod, P.A. at 800-346-5529 if you need help filing a claim for workers’ compensation.
