Workers’ Compensation Board sues rapper Jay-Z

The rapper, Jay-Z, is being sued by the Workers’ Compensation Board of New York after he failed to pay his employees’ workers’ compensation insurance in 2009 for three consecutive months.
According to the board, Jay-Z owes $18,000 after his domestic employees’ insurance faltered. The court has ordered the multimillionaire to pay the requested amount. People close to Jay-Z are claiming that it was an error made through administration and that he has never missed a payment.
The insurance in question covers Jay-Z’s domestic employees which include; drivers, personal assistants and cooks.
