Industrial worker dies from workplace accident

An industrial worker in Camden, New Jersey is dead after an accident involving cutting a chain proved fatal.

The workplace accident happened at 5 Points Tire and Auto Repair while the man was trying to cut a chain with the help of a sharpening wheel. The wheel became unfastened causing the blade that was attached to be thrust into the man’s chest. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The identity of the worker has not been released at this time but it is known that he was 33-years-old and a father of three. An investigation of the industrial worker’s death is currently being conducted.
