Three story building collapses, injures three construction workers

Posted on Wednesday, April 7th, 2010 at 2:56 pm

Three construction workers and a person passing by were injured when a three-story building collapsed in New York.

The three construction workers were working building a fourth floor to the building and working on the third floor when it collapsed. One worker was completely buried after the crash and it took rescue crews almost 20 minutes to get to him. The two other workers was partially buried with concrete but rescued very quickly. Two of the workers were transported to the hospital along with a pedestrian who ran to aid of the workers after the building collapsed. The cause of the collapse is currently under investigation.
